23rd September 2016 we saw Ruby and got her out of the public shelter in a complete mess. She had severe mange and her skin was bleeding and so sore and a lot of her coat was missing. She was a very sorry looking doggie.
She spent many weeks in the clinic and was ready to leave there end of October. We needed somewhere for her to go to. We didn't want her to just be moved to a kennel. She was very shy and needed a proper home. So Chrissie and Gary Francis kindly offered to foster Ruby for us when she was ready to travel. So she came to the UK to live by the sea. They spent many weeks getting her used to a home and people. Then of course they couldn't let her go so they decided to adopt ger which was just amazing. So a very happy future ahead for Ruby now after the hell of the shelter.
