Just thought I’d drop you an update on our lovely boy Kimber: He is awesome! He still loves attention, so, so friendly
He loves playing with his toys and is learning fetch. He’s already learned to sit, though stay is proving a bit more tricky as he loves attention so much he follows us around! He’s getting three walks a day, he is fine on the lead now and already walks off the lead, his recall is excellent. I haven’t been worried that he won’t come back at all, though the first time I let him go though he spotted some swan’s paddling in the river and dived straight in to say hello which was scary but luckily he turned and came back as soon as I called him. He’s already made lots of friends in the local park, I might be biased but he’s definitely one of the better behaved ones!
He has lots of admirers, people recognize him from miles away and come to say hello. He loves running around, it’s wonderful to see him in full flow knowing not long ago he was confined to a cage. He goes off and does his sniffing around but if he loses sight of us he comes flying back, hopefully we must be doing something right!
He loves a cuddle on the sofa in the evenings and lying on the rug. Dinner time is still his favorite though, he has a very healthy appetite. He really is perfect. I can’t believe such an impeccably behaved, sweet natured and beautiful dog could have ended up with little time left on the clock in a shelter ☹ He’s been with us for nearly three weeks now and Hannah and I love him very dearly. We feel so happy to have him in our lives, we are really so grateful for everyone at Sadie’s for rescuing our little guy. Please forward our thanks to Lesley and Laura and the gang and please keep up with the unbelievable work you all do on behalf of Kimber and all the other wonderful doggies of the world.
